| Sasol Ltd. (SSL), together with Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK), has applied for the right to explore for onshore petroleum in South Africa, the petrochemicals company said Wednesday.
The application submitted to the Petroleum Agency SA Ltd. is expected to take about 12 months, Sasol said.
