NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - SLM Corp. Monday named Michael Martin and
Frank Puleo directors and said it intends to make additional appointments in the
near future.
Martin is currently the president of Brooklyn NY Holdings LLC while Puleo is
a director at Apollo Investment Corp.
Shares of SLM, a college-loan provider, closed Thursday at $15.78. The stock
is down 62% over the past 52 weeks.
