SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Salary.com Inc. said late Thursday it
has acquired the assets of Schoonover Associates Inc., a provider of competency
management data and consulting services, for $3.5 million in cash.
In addition, Schoonover will be eligible to earn up to $500,000 in
additional cash and $1.5 million in stock based on meeting certain performance
targets during the first five years after the closing of the acquisition.
Salary.com is based in Waltham, Mass.
