PARIS (Thomson Financial) - France's state-owned rail operator SNCF plans to
pay the state a 150 mln eur dividend for 2007, SNCF's first dividend ever, the
Journal du Dimanche reported, without citing sources.
A spokesperson for the finance ministry confirmed that a dividend was
planned but declined to comment on its magnitude, the Agence-France Presse
reported.
Contacted by AFP, SNCF declined to comment.
The SNCF is expected Wednesday to report a net profit of 930 mln eur for
2007.
