LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Rusina Mining NL said the vessel the MV Vega
Rose arrived at local partner DMCI Holdings Inc's purpose built Santa Cruz port
to start loading 54,000 tonnes of nickel laterite ore, grading 1.4 pct nickel.
The company said the loading comes two weeks after the departure of the MV
Mustang, the company's initial shipment under its alliancing contract with DMCI
Holdings of the Philippines.
Rusina said it has been informed by DMCI that a further two shipments of
about 50,000 tonnes each are scheduled for this month, together with a smaller
shipment of high grade ore.
