BASEL (Thomson Financial) - Roche Holding AG said it holds around 70.5 pct
of the shares of Ventana Medical Systems Inc, about 25.50 mln shares, following
the end of the offer period.
The Basel-based drug maker had twice hiked its offer and last offered 89.50
usd per Ventana share, resulting in the US healthcare group's management to
endorse the offer.
