"We are grateful for the support from our sponsors and colleagues in the entertainment community this year," said Norma Provencio Pichardo, executive director of the Television Academy Foundation. "With the rapid evolution of television – from consumption to production – it's more important than ever to invest in tomorrow's leaders. It's inspiring to see the industry come together to help further our mission by supporting our educational programs and initiatives at our annual golf tournament."

Proceeds from the tournament will support the Foundation's educational programs, including the television industry college student internship program, the annual College Television Awards, select student scholarships and the online Archive of American Television. To help amplify fundraising efforts, celebrities also signed a one-of-a-kind Dooney & Bourke bag that will be auctioned off at the Foundation's annual Holiday Auction.
