Established in 2014 as part of GRP's acquisition of Financial
Telesis, Inc. (FTI), GRP provides turnkey retirement plan
infrastructure, compliance, commissioning, and personnel to
advisors who specialize in the retirement space. "We're very
pleased to be affiliated with a company [LPL Financial] with a long
tenure in the retirement plan business and resources backed by a
market cap of more than $4 billion,"
said Joe DeNoyior, Managing Partner,
Washington Financial Group.
"GRP was created by a team of industry thought leaders who have
given our collective firms the perfect platform to join forces over
shared values," said Chad Larsen,
President & CEO, MRP. "This acquisition represents the
culmination of a strategic plan to ensure we continue to lead the
industry in delivering value for both plan sponsors and
participants. We want to be not only the best in the
industry, but the best for the industry."
In addition, member firms also enjoy access to an in-house
former ERISA attorney, out-sourced quarterly due diligence
reporting, and the exclusive GRP Advisor Alliance – a turnkey
retirement plan advisor affiliate offering marketing, advertising,
conferences, tools, financial wellness programs, and
investments. "In my conversations with GRP's leadership, they
reinforced their commitment to new programs and offerings that keep
a sharp eye toward plan expenses and delivering valuable services
to participants," said Mark Temple,
Managing Director, Retirement and Benefit Partners.
"We explored a number of options to help take GRP to the next
level of growth, and these firms best represented the talent,
innovation, and passion to accomplish what we had planned for the
retirement planning space," said Bill
Chetney, CEO of GRP. "We are excited to move forward with
this partnership and to seeing GRP continue to grow for the benefit
of advisors."
"The GRP team truly understands the need for worksite
education," said Barbara Delaney,
Principal of StoneStreet Advisor Group. "Our goal is to drive
financial wellness to help increase plan sale opportunities, and
GRP's mission to educate and support advisors plays a key role in
what we envision as a healthy future for our industry."
