Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
Valiant Petroleum plc ("Valiant" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that
all resolutions proposed at the EGM today were duly passed.
Admission of the 12,547,170 new ordinary shares of 2.555556 pence each in the
capital of the Company is expected to take place and dealings expected to
commence on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange at 8.00am on 19 October
2009.
