Environmental Recycling Technologies plc ("ERT" or "the Company")
Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
At the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company, which took place on earlier
today, the resolutions put to shareholders in order to effect the placing of
57,377,049 new ordinary shares of 2.5p each at a price of 4.88p (the "Placing")
and to change the name of the Company announced on 30 July 2007, were duly
passed.
The Placing remains conditional upon Admission. It is expected that Admission
and dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will occur by 8.00 a.m. on 30 August
2007. Following Admission, the number of New Ordinary Shares in issue will be
224,229,988.
The Company's name has now changed to Environmental Recycling Technologies plc.
A new Stock Exchange Ticker of ENRT.L will come into effect as of 24 August
2007. One of the reasons for changing the Company's name was to emphasise the
Company's focus on its core activities of European and African based recycling.
To that end, the board is pleased that Roger Baynham, with his expertise in this
area, is increasing his involvement in the Company by taking an executive rather
than non-executive role.
A new website domain of www.environmentalrecyclingtechnologies.com has been
created through the exiting website, which will remain live for the time being.
The new website contains our new logo and branding.
Having completed the Placing and changing the Company's name, the Board intends
to conduct a review the Company's operations to focus on its core activity of
commercialising its proprietary Powder Impression Moulding process. It is
anticipated that non-core assets will be disposed.
