RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
UPDATE ON PROGRESS AT CAIJIAYING
At the annual general meeting held today of the shareholders of Griffin Mining Limited
("Griffin" or the "Company"), all resolutions
were duly passed.
At the meeting the Chairman, Mr. Mladen Ninkov, gave a summary report on developments and
progress at the Caijiaying zinc gold mine. The
Chairman reported that:
1. Construction work on the plant upgrade to increase mill throughput to 750,000 tonnes
of ore per annum is underway with all major
items of equipment ordered and expected to be installed by the end of the summer.
2. An underground drive from the zone III mining area to zone II two kilometres to the
south at Caijiaying is being driven, allowing
for underground exploration drilling in the areas between the two zones and allow access for
the development of the zone II resource.
3. The Company continues to evaluate further acquisitions which have the potential to add
significant value to the company.
4. The buy back and cancellation of 79,851,818 held by Citadel Equity Fund Ltd had been
completed.
