DRYSHIPS INC. ANNOUNCES DIVIDEND
FOR THE QUARTER ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2017
ATHENS, GREECE October 17, 2017 - DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) (the Company or DryShips), a diversified owner of ocean going cargo vessels, announced today that, in accordance with its previously announced dividend policy, the Companys Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend with respect to the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
With respect to the quarter ended September 30, 2017, the Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $2.5 million payable on or about November 14, 2017 to common shareholders of record as of October 27, 2017. The dividend per share amount to be paid by the Company, based on the Companys 104,274,708 common shares outstanding, will be approximately $0.023975 per share.
