BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. Wednesday
reported a narrowed fourth-quarter net loss of $13.1 million, or 19 cents a
share, compared with a net loss of $31 million, or 51 cents a share, in the
year-earlier quarter.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial was for a loss of
47 cents a share.
Revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 increased sixfold to $64.7
million from $10.3 million a year ago. Wall Street's consensus was for
fourth-quarter revenue of $26.4 million.
Shares of the Tarrytown, N.Y.-based biotechnology company closed Tuesday at
$18.66.
