The AHP facilitates the development of affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income households. Through a competitive application process, the Federal Home Loan Bank provides grants to member banks to assist in financing their housing initiatives.
Redding Bank of Commerce in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Shasta Cascade has been awarded a $180,000.00 grant in the Round "A" Award. The award is to subsidize Habitat for Humanity Shasta Cascade, Parkview Neighborhood Redevelopment Project. Habitat for Humanity Shasta Cascade is a non-profit, housing organization who provides homeownership opportunities to hard working families. Since 1996 Habitat has built 16 homes in our community and has plans to build and additional 46 homes over the next two years.
