Ready Aim Craft's booth at the Labor Day Weekend show will not be featuring every item from the website; however, there will be new items that haven't been seen before. "Unlike with an online store, where you have to create orders to be exactly like the picture shown on the item's listing, creating pieces for a craft show allows me to be much more creative. I'll cut and assemble wood for a sign, create the frame for the sign using any colored 12 gauge shotgun shells, and then hand-paint whatever fun sayings pops into my head at that moment."

Shoppers will also be able to request customization to their shotgun shell signs. James will have a limited number of blank signs, which she can hand-paint with whatever the customer chooses. The most popular customizations have featured family names, wedding dates and even favorite quotes. James will paint the sign while the customer enjoys the other vendors and will have the finished product ready the same day.

"I've always enjoyed the craft show environment," says Janelle James, owner of Ready Aim Craft. "Being an online shop, you never really have the chance to connect with your customers. When you have a physical presence like a craft show booth, you have the opportunity to interact with customers and create an ongoing relationship with them."

"There's no better conversation starter than six-square-foot American flag made up of over 360 shotgun shells sitting in front of your booth," James continues. "It reminds passersby of the eight-point buck they bagged last hunting season, or the pride they felt when their son returned from deployment last month. While every craft show exhibitor wants to sell every item they bring, the real payoff for me is being able to connect with people and hear their stories."
