Contract Signed With NetMed Hellas S.A.
Pilat Media Global plc, the London-based AIM-listed supplier of business management
software to the media industry around the world, is
pleased to announce that it has now signed a contract with NetMed Hellas S.A. ("NetMed
Hellas") for the licensing, implementation and
maintenance of its Integrated Broadcast Management System (IBMS) to support NetMed Hellas'
content programming and station operations for
the leading digital satellite pay-TV platform in Greece and Cyprus, "NOVA".
NetMed Hellas packages and supplies premium sports and movie TV channels for the NOVA DTH
service, which has more than 350,000
subscribers. NOVA's breadth of programming includes: movies, sport, news, music, and
documentary TV channels, radio channels, video on
demand services, gaming, and other interactive services which will all be supported by Pilat
Media's IBMS.
George Gabritsos, Managing Director of NetMed Hellas, said: "We looked at various
solutions and we decided that IBMS from Pilat worked
best for us. We are happy to conclude an agreement and we look forward to its successful
implementation and to a long term and mutually
