                                    Rambler Metals and Mining Announces Options Grant
                                                            

London, England & Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador - Rambler Metals and Mining plc (TSXV:
RAB, AIM: RMM) ('Rambler'or  the  'Company')
announces that on 18 August 2008 150,000 stock options were granted to an employee at 
Rambler.  The options  were granted at a price of
C$0.53. The options are exercisable within ten years from the date of grant, vesting as
follows:

(i)     50,000  on or after the date of the grant;
(ii)    50,000  on or after the first anniversary of the date of grant;
(iii)   50,000  on or after the second anniversary of the date of grant.
