HONG KONG, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Radica Games Limited (NASDAQ:RADA) announced today that the record date for the purpose of determining the Radica shareholders entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the special general meeting of the shareholders of Radica to be held to consider the previously announced proposed acquisition of Radica by Mattel, Inc. will be August 18, 2006. The date of the special general meeting of shareholders will be provided in the notice for the special general meeting. It is expected that the transaction will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2006.
