CHICAGO, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE:RRD) today announced that its Reno, Nevada production facility has been recertified with Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Status by the Federal Occupational and Safety Health Administration (OSHA). RR Donnelley printing operations in Lynchburg and Roanoke, Virginia and Senatobia, Mississippi are also certified as VPP Star facilities.
Star certifications are the highest that OSHA grants. These certifications reflect the cooperative relationship between OSHA and these RR Donnelley facilities, each of which has implemented comprehensive safety and health management systems. As does RR Donnelley overall, these facilities continue to maintain injury and illness rates that are well below the national average for the printing industry.
