(Repeats to amend misspelling of Birkenhead's name in headline)
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Caffyns Plc., the UK motor distributor, said
chairman Brian Carte has resigned on health grounds with immediate effect and
has been replaced by Brian Birkenhead.
Caffyns said Birkenhead will also serve as the chairman of the nominations
committee, succeeding Brian Carte in both roles.
Birkenhead is stepping down as chairman of the audit committee and has been
replaced by Andrew Goodburn, who will also assume the role of senior independent
director, the company said.
Nicholas Hollingworth has been appointed chairman of the remuneration
committee.
