LONDON--Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS.LN), the 73% state-owned bank, said Monday it has appointed Frank Dangeard Nonexecutive Director.

Mr. Dangeard is currently a Nonexecutive Director of RPX Corporation and of Symantec Corporation, the bank said.

Shares at 0905 GMT down 1 pence, or 0.4%, at 210 pence, valuing the company at GBP24.61 billion.
