RBC Capital Markets Continues Investment Banking Expansion
Adds Proven Wall Street Veterans for Healthcare and Media, Communications &
Entertainment Sectors
NEW YORK, June 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RBC Capital Markets, the corporate
and investment banking arm of RBC Financial Group (NYSE:RY), today announced
the further expansion of its core investment banking group with the hiring of
two veteran Wall Street executives.
Kevin Davies joins RBC Capital Markets as managing director in Healthcare
Investment Banking and Chris Mulligan becomes managing director and co-head of
the Media, Communications & Entertainment Investment Banking group.
The hires follow the recent announcement that Marc Daniel, former senior
managing director at Bear Stearns & Co., has joined RBC Capital Markets as a
managing director in its Mergers & Acquisitions group.
Davies was most recently managing director for Life Sciences Investment Banking
at Wells Fargo Securities LLC and gained experience in healthcare and life
sciences investment banking at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and
Robertson Stephens. He has completed more than 80 financing and M&A
transactions across a broad spectrum of healthcare sectors in his career. Davies received his bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and his
MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern
University.

coverage of the media and consumer sectors. While at Wit Soundview Group, he
was instrumental in overseeing the firm's banking revenue grow to $200 million
from $2 million in just two years. Mulligan completed his undergraduate studies
at Dartmouth College and his MBA at the University of Chicago.
