R/GA San Francisco Signs Lease in Trendy SOMA District

Move to accommodate steady growth

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- R/GA, the agency for the digital age(TM), is pleased to announce that R/GA San Francisco will officially move later this year to its new 16,000 sq. ft. office space at 35 South Park Street in the South of Market (SOMA) district.

Since opening in mid-May, R/GA San Francisco has increased its staff to 12 full-time employees. The office is expected to double by year's end. The shift to a new and permanent space will support R/GA's growth and bolster its capabilities to better serve existing and new clients.

Of the additions, Ryan Denning joins as group director, production. He will be taking on select operational responsibilities to ensure that the office offers the level of service our clients expect. Denning will partner with Mauro Cavalletti, the recently announced executive creative director, to lead the office. Both Denning and Cavalletti possess an acute sense of the agency's deep-rooted culture and have worked at R/GA for several years.

Denning, a nine-year veteran of R/GA, brings broad digital expertise to the position. With considerable client and production experience from his former role as group director, production, at R/GA New York, he is adept at delivering work that yields positive results. Leading a team of 50 people on the Verizon account, he managed multiple large-scale engagements including projects that span the digital spectrum, from mobile interface designs to digital signage, interactive touch screens, live-action demos, and web-application development.

Denning's prior work experience encompassed an equally wide range of industry sectors and client assignments covering business-to-business marketing, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and online retailing. He has also worked closely on interactive retail displays, digital asset management, and e-CRM programs designed to grow customer loyalty.

Cavalletti joined R/GA San Francisco shortly after its opening in May and played an integral role in its growth. Previously, he worked at R/GA New York for six years, rising to the position of executive creative director.

The San Francisco office follows R/GA's hybrid agency model, which promotes multidisciplinary teams that include planners, developers, visual designers, copywriters, and interaction designers working closely together toward one common goal. The office aims to provide innovative digital marketing solutions to a diverse client portfolio ranging from consumer packaged goods to sports apparel to technology companies, similar to R/GA in New York and London.
