LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Quintiles Transnational Corp. said it will not
proceed with an offer for clinical trials technology company ClinPhone Plc.
On June 13, Parexel International Corp. had announced that its 135 pence
cash and share offer for rival ClinPhone was accepted.
In response to this, Quintiles Transnational Corp had said it may make an
all-cash counter offer for the company, which would be at a premium to the price
per share offered by Parexel.
