The Local Radio Company Plc ("TLRC") announces that, according to Q1 2008 RAJAR
figures published today, it now has 925,000 listeners per week up from 907,000 a
year ago.  This is a 2% increase year on year.

Total listening hours in the quarter were 7.6 million and were in line with the
results for the same period last year.

Commenting on the figures, Richard Wheatly, Executive Chairman of TLRC, said:

"I am pleased to announce that we have increased the number of listeners across
our network of stations year on year.

This good set of results supports our strategy of producing high quality local
broadcasting across our network of stations."
