An Abundance wins GBP1.4 million H&T pawnbrokers
business
H&T pawnbrokers has awarded its total marketing business to
behaviour change agency An Abundance after a competitive pitch.
An Abundance will be tasked with developing creative campaigns
across the H&T Group product and service lines: pawnbroking,
gold purchasing, unsecured loans and retail jewellery. H&T last
year spent GBP1.4 million across TV, outdoor, Direct Marketing and
local press.
Established in 1897 H&T is the UK's oldest and biggest
player in the pawnbroking and cash for gold sectors. Two weeks ago,
amid the worst of the rioting the company opened its 150th store in
East Croydon. This sector has seen significant growth in recent
years and H&T is considered to be one of the most innovative
players to capitalise in the sector's growth.
Lucy Westcott, Head of Marketing said: "Under our Group CEO,
John Nichols, we have invested heavily in staff training and shop
refurbishments to provide the very best customer service. Our
customer loyalty is high and we are exceptionally proud of the
brand work we have done. It's a complex sector with many dynamics

sector now and right for us as the dominant player in that
sector."
