Pound Rises Against Most Majors

The British pound strengthened against most major currencies in
the late Asian session on Tuesday.
The pound rose to a 1-week high of 0.7007 against the euro and a
4-day high of 1.5102 against the U.S. dollar, from early lows of
0.7021 and 1.5051, respectively.
Against the yen, the pound advanced to 185.66 from an early low
of 185.08. This may be compared to an early 1-week high of
185.79.
If the pound extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 0.69 against the euro, 1.53 against the greenback
and 188.50 against the yen.
