Pound Climbs Against Yen, Franc

The pound advanced against the yen and the franc ahead of
European deals on Wednesday.
The pound edged up to 179.36 against the yen and 1.3786 against
the franc, compared to yesterday's closing values of 179.08 and
1.3712, respectively. The pound may test resistance around 180.6
against the yen and 1.44 against the franc.
