SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Possis Medical Inc. late Monday said a
U.S. circuit appeals court affirmed a federal district court's dismissal of a
shareholder lawsuit against the company.
The lawsuit, filed June 5, 2005, had alleged that the Minneapolis-based
medical devices company violated federal securities laws by misrepresenting
material information about its AngioJet rheolytic thrombectomy system prior to
the August 2004 public disclosure of the results of the company's clinical trial
involving AngioJet.
The stock closed the regular session up 1 penny at $19.49.
