WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Poland's net inflation rose to 2.5 pct
year-on-year in February, compared to expectations of between 2.5-2.7 pct shown
in analysts' polls earlier this month, and up from 1.9 pct a month earlier, the
central bank said today.
Net inflation, the main measure of underlying price growth which excludes
food and fuel costs, stood at 1.7 pct in December before a revision of the
consumer inflation basket carried out by the statistics office.
