WARSAW--Poland's manufacturing sector in June rebounded from a seven-month low thanks to accelerating new orders rising at the fastest pace since January, Markit Economics said Wednesday.

The survey of 300 industrial companies showed the manufacturing purchasing managers' index rose to 54.3 points in June, from 52.4 in May.

A PMI figure below 50 indicates contraction, while above that level signals expansion.

Acceleration in new orders was accompanied by a faster rise in current production, Markit said, while new export orders continued at a similar pace to previous months.
