WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Polish builder Pol-Aqua signed preliminary deal
to buy local drain system and pipeline service company Teco for 17.5 million
zlotys, Pol-Aqua said in a statement published late last night.
The final deal, which still requires approval by Polish regulators, is to be
signed before September 30.
Pol-Aqua, among a range of Warsaw-listed companies from the portfolio of
Polish billionaire Ryszard Krauze, is increasing its acquisitions to cash in on
the construction boom in an expanding economy.
Last month the group announced plans to take over blue-chip peer Polnord in
a deal worth 2 billion zlotys that would form the country's leading builder.
