Placing of new shares
Eicom plc (AIM:EIC) announces that it has undertaken a placing of new Ordinary
Shares and has issued 4,283,730 Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each at an average price
of 3.4p per share to raise #145,878.
Application has been made today for these Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM,
and trading is expected to commence on 8 November 2007.
Funds from this placing will be used to provide additional programming to
enhance the Company's new channel, Performance MainStreet and add to the library
of programmes for the Company's sister station, Performance Channel. The mix of
classic rock, documentary and TV shows like Old Grey Whistle Test on Performance
MainStreet is already proving popular with Sky viewers.
This brings the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights to 32,614,228
which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
