LONDON (Thomson Financial) - South Africa-based mining company Petmin Ltd
said its first-half net profit rose by 145 pct helped by a 92 pct growth in
revenues.
Petmin's net profit for the six months to Dec 31, 2007, rose to 5.81 mln stg
from 2.44 mln in the year-ago period, on revenues of 19.13 mln stg from 10 mln.
Pretax profit in the same period more than doubled to about 109.52 mln rand
from 43.31 mln.
