Paul D. Lorensen Appointed Director of Quality Assurance for Con-Way Southern Express

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Con-Way Transportation Services, Inc., a subsidiary of CNF Inc. (NYSE) today announced the promotion of Paul D. Lorensen to director of quality assurance for Con-Way Southern Express (CSE).

A transportation veteran with over 20 year's experience, Lorensen joined Con-Way Southwest Express (now CSE) as a day-one employee in 1989 serving as a service center manager in San Antonio, TX. From 1991 until 1995 he held service center management positions in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and Atlanta, GA. In 1996 he was promoted to region manager for the southwest region. In 2002 he was named region manager for the mid-south region. As director of quality assurance Lorensen will be responsible for the initiation, management and compliance of all operations quality initiatives including on-time performance and claims for the less-than-truckload carrier.

Lorensen holds a bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University. He will be based in CSE's Ft. Worth general office.
