Parrot, a leader in wireless peripherals around the mobile phone, and Vodafone today announce the signing of an agreement to offer a Vodafone-Parrot co-branded wireless stereo speaker named Parrot PARTY for sale across Vodafone markets in Spain.
With Vodafone Parrot PARTY, Parrot provides Vodafone Spain with a unique combination of industry-leading wireless technology and the ability to deliver great entertainment that enhances its customers' mobile experience. Given that design plays an essential role in the customer's eyes, the wireless speaker at the backbone of this new agreement will be branded with Vodafone colours, an eye-catching red.
Henri Seydoux, CEO of Parrot, stated that "the deal signed with Vodafone is proof of our ability to deploy state-of-the-art expertise and offer our partners tailor-made solutions. We are delighted to release a quality product inspired by the latest trends and that will offer Vodafone consumers something they've always dreamed of."
The Vodafone Parrot PARTY is very easy to use: in one click, send your favourite tracks from any Bluetooth(R) stereo (A2DP) music source such as a mobile phone, MP3-player or PC to the Parrot PARTY. If the source device does not support the Bluetooth A2DP profile, you can still play your music wirelessly by using a Bluetooth 2.0 USB Parrot dongle or an audio dongle, or through the more traditional method by plugging your music source (CD player, etc.) into the auxiliary line-in jack.
The Vodafone Parrot PARTY wireless speaker together with all the A2DP Vodafone cell phones is available for new customers from 39EUR through Vodafone Spain sales channels. The wireless speaker is also available without a mobile phone, with a retail price of 99EUR.

ABOUT PARROT
Founded in 1994, Parrot has rapidly established itself as a pivotal global player for wireless mobile telephone accessories. Drawing on its tried-and-tested expertise on voice recognition and signal processing technologies, Parrot was one of the very first companies to produce Bluetooth(R)-based wireless hands free car kits, having identified this standard's vast potential as early as 1999. In 2006, Parrot sold about 3 million units.
Determined to accompany the wireless peripherals' irresistible breakthrough into our day-to-day lives, Parrot has been developing since 2006 a new wireless range of sound and image products.
Today, Parrot truly has a major international focus: 90,5% of its sales are generated outside of France, and a large percentage of its production is outsourced to carefully selected partners, enabling it to achieve the best possible level of quality and responsiveness. Parrot is now particularly well positioned to capitalize on the bright future opening up for mobile telephone devices.
Parrot has achieved strong growth in its consolidated revenues, up from 80.9 million euros pro forma in 2005 to 166.9 million euros in 2006.
