Major gainers:
-Accor, up 1.47 euros or 2.71 percent at 55.62, following news Colony
Capital and Eurazeo have formed a shareholder pact with a 17.5 percent stake in
the group's capital and intend to raise their holding to 30 percent.
-EDF, up 0.18 or 0.27 percent at 67.70. Societe Generale raised its target
price on the utility group to 80 euros from 72 and reiterated its 'buy' stance.
Weekend press reports also claimed that EDF is preparing to launch a 6.2 billion
pound offer for British Energy Group this week
Major losers:
-Alcatel-Lucent, down 0.10 or 2.22 percent at 4.41, shedding some of last
Friday's strong gains
-EADS, down 0.41 or 2.41 percent at 16.62. Aerospace stocks are being hit by
profit-taking after last week's rally -- EADS gained 10.87 percent over the week
