BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Papa John's International Inc. said Monday it
has signed various development agreements to open 57 additional Papa John's
restaurants throughout Canada.
The Louisville, Ky.-based restaurant operator said that each of the four
franchise groups in charge of building the restaurants has committed to opening
one or more restaurants in 2008.
There are currently about 3,200 Papa John's restaurants open worldwide.
Papa John's shares closed Friday at $25.15, up about 11% year-to-date.
