Result of Tender Offer

Private Equity Investor PLC (the "Company")

The Company posted to shareholders on 19 March 2015 a circular ("Circular") in
respect of a tender offer to purchase shares in the Company having an aggregate
value at the tender price of up to £6,700,000. Terms used in this announcement
shall have the same meaning as in the Circular.

The Board announces that the NAV per Share as at the Calculation Date was
235.2130 pence. Accordingly the Tender Price is 234.2590 pence per Share, after
deducting an amount equal to the Tender Costs per Share. The Basic Entitlement
Percentage is therefore 19.32 per cent (rounded).

The full result of the Tender Offer is as follows:

Total number of Shares in issue as at the Record Date: 14,805,508

Shares tendered for the Basic Entitlement: 2,758,176

Shares tendered for more than the Basic Entitlement: 10,726,607

Shares not tendered under the Basic Entitlement (i.e. excess available):
101,906

Total number of Shares tendered: 13,484,783

Shareholders who tendered in excess of the Basic Entitlement will have
approximately 0.95 per cent. of their excess satisfied (rounded down) resulting
in 101,813 Shares being tendered under the excess available.

The Tender Offer is expected to be completed today with a total of 2,859,989
Shares to be repurchased by the Company for cancellation for an aggregate price
of £6,699,780.50. Following completion of the Tender Offer, 11,945,519 Shares
will be in issue. CREST accounts of shareholders who hold their Shares in CREST
are expected to be credited and cheques in respect of shareholders who do not
hold their Shares in CREST are expected to be dispatched by 27 April 2015.
