(Nasdaq: OUTR) today announced Galen C.
Smith, the company's chief financial officer, has been named
to Puget Sound Business Journal's "40 Under 40" list, which honors
outstanding members of the local business community. Smith has been
recognized for his role as an inspirational and results-driven
leader and as a dedicated supporter of community organizations.

Smith was appointed to the role of chief financial officer in
April 2013. He previously served as
senior vice president of finance for Redbox, an Outerwall brand,
helping to guide the business through several strategic initiatives
and studio negotiations. Smith joined Outerwall in 2009 and was
named corporate vice president of finance and treasurer shortly
after.

Smith currently serves on the YMCA of Greater Seattle's board of directors, helping

Foundation, lending his expertise by helping to direct the
organization's investments and strategy.
