LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Molecular diagnostics specialist Osmetech says
its full-year pretax loss narrowed slightly to 12.2 mln stg vs 12.5 mln.
However the company reported profit after tax of 4.0 mln stg vs a loss of
13.3 mln stg, which includes 17.6 mln profit booked on the sale of its Critical
Care Division.
The company said that cash at the end of its financial year, Dec 31, was
13.9 mln stg compared with 7.1 mln last time.
Chief executive James White said in a statement: "We expect further progress
and significant developments during the current year."
