NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Orthofix International N.V. Tuesday said it
appointed Timothy M. Adams as chief financial officer, effective Nov. 19.
Adams most recently served as financial chief at Cytyc Corp., a medical
device and diagnostics company that was recently acquired by Hologic Inc. Adams
replaces Tom Hein, who served as CFO for the last eight years and who will
remain with the company as executive vice president of finance.
Shares of the Curacao, Netherlands-based company closed Monday at $52.89.
