NEW YORK (AP) - Commercial bank stocks were mixed Wednesday morning as crude
oil prices continued to rise and Wall Street awaited the latest Energy
Department report on oil inventories, scheduled for release at 10:30 a.m. EST.
How shares of some commercial banks are trading:
National City Corp., up 10 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $4.74.
Wachovia Corp., up 17 cents to $19.93.
First Horizon National Corp., down 23 cents to $8.57.
Zions Bancorp., down $1.65, or 4.4 percent, to $36.06.
