NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Omniture Inc. Wednesday said it entered into
a strategic alliance with China Internet search company Baidu.com Inc. related
to the management of online ads.
Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
Omniture manufactures software that analyzes Internet advertising. Omniture
said that in the agreement, the two companies would provide technology that
manages the metrics from ad campaigns in the Chinese market.
Shares of Omniture closed Tuesday at $21.37 while Baidu shares closed at
$264.15.
