SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Omniture Inc. late Wednesday reported a
second-quarter net loss of $6.46 million, or 9 cents a share, versus a net loss
of $4.06 million, or 8 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Adjusted income in the three months ended June 30 was $7.3 million, or 10
cents a share, compared with a profit of $1.9 million, or 3 cents a share, last
year.
Revenue more than doubled to $71.6 million, while adjusted revenue came in
at $74.9 million.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters was for a per-share
profit of 11 cents on revenue of $74 million.
The Orem, Utah-based business optimization software company expects a
third-quarter net loss of 11 cents to 12 cents a share, or an adjusted profit of
10 cents to 11 cents a share, on revenue of $76 million to $78 million, or
adjusted revenue of $78.5 million to $80.5 million.
For full-year 2008, Omniture expects a net loss of 42 cents to 47 cents a
share, or an adjusted profit of 41 cents to 46 cents a share, on revenue of $295
million to $300 million, or adjusted revenue of $308 million to $313 million.
Wall Street is looking for a third-quarter profit of 12 cents a share and a
2008 profit of 45 cents a share.
The company's shares closed at $20.97.
