Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman

OMG plc (LSE: OMG), the technology group providing Computer Vision products and services for the entertainment, life science, engineering industries and consumer electronics markets today announces that, following a thorough search process, it has appointed Roger Parry to join the Board as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect to succeed Anthony Simonds-Gooding (Non-Executive Chairman) on his retirement.

As part of an orderly transition, Anthony Simonds-Gooding, will retire from the Board and his role as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with immediate effect.

Roger Parry is currently Chairman of two AIM listed companies, YouGov plc and Mobile Streams plc and is Chairman of a number of other private companies. Roger has held a variety of Chairman roles including Johnston Press plc (2001-09), Future plc (1999-2011) and Shakespeare's Globe (2005-13). Previously he was CEO of both Clear Channel International and of More Group plc. He spent three years with McKinsey, the international consulting firm, and prior to that was a TV and radio journalist with the BBC and ITV.

On his appointment, Roger Parry said:

Roger Parry was a director of Litelogic Limited which was placed into administration on 11 February 2009 with an estimated total deficit as regards creditors on that date of GBP2,254,565. The administration was converted to a Creditors Voluntary Liquidation on 26 November 2009. A dividend of 9 pence in the GBP was paid to all agreed unsecured creditors on 28 March 2011. Mr Parry was appointed a director of Litelogic Limited on 15 October 2008 and ceased to be a director on 9 February 2009.

Roger Parry was a director of Media Square plc which was placed into administration on 8 December 2011 with an estimated total deficit as regards creditors on that date of GBP24 million. An amount of GBP11,040,540.38 was paid to all creditors in 2012 and Media Square plc was dissolved on 10 March 2013. Mr Parry was appointed a director of Media Square plc on 2 July 2007.

Save for the above, there is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules with respect to the appointment of Roger Parry.

About Roger Parry

Roger has spent most of his career in the media sector and has long experience as both a Chairman and as a CEO. His first job was as personal assistant to Charles and Maurice Saatchi. He then became a broadcast journalist with BBC, ITV and LBC. He moved to become a consultant with McKinsey and Co and then held senior positions with WCRS, Internet Indiect, iTouch and Aegis. He was an owner of radio stations Jazz FM and LBC.

Roger was educated at the universities of Oxford (Jesus College) and Bristol; and is a Visiting Fellow of Oxford University. He was awarded a CBE for services to media. He is the author of five books including Ascent of Media and Enterprise: The Leadership Role.
