Kenmore European Industrial Fund ("KEIF" / "Fund')
NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS
The Board of KEIF announces that it has been notified by the Fund's Investment
Manager, Kenmore Financial Services Limited (the "Investment Manager" / "KFSL"),
that its indirect parent company, Kenmore Investments Ltd ("KIL") has been
placed into administrative receivership and KIL's parent company, the Kenmore
Property Group, has been placed in administration. KFSL, however, and a number
of KIL's European subsidiaries to which KFSL delegates certain of its management
functions are not in any form of insolvency and continue to trade.
The Board would like to remind Shareholders that KEIF is a separate legal entity
to the Investment Manager, resident in Guernsey and is controlled by an
independent board of directors, four out of five of whom are independent from
KFSL. In addition, following its initial discussions with the Investment
Manager, the Board of KEIF is reassured that the ownership of the Fund's assets
is unaffected.
The Board, with its advisers, will keep the situation under careful review and
update shareholders as appropriate.
An Interim Management Statement outlining KEIF's progress and performance during
the quarter to 30 September 2009 will be announced to Shareholders on 19
November 2009.
