Notice of EGM
The Board of Jarvis Securities plc announces that it has posted a letter to its
shareholders today giving notice that an EGM will be
held on 30th July 2008 with the purpose of passing a special resolution to generally and
unconditionally authorise the Company to purchase
its Ordinary 1p Shares ("Ordinary Shares").
Should the resolution be passed it will be subject to the following conditions:
* the maximum number of shares acquired will not represent more than 10 per cent. of
the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital;
* the minimum price which may be paid is 1p per Ordinary Share;
* the maximum price which may be paid is 105 per cent. of the average middle market
quotation for an Ordinary Share for the five
business days preceding the day of intended purchase; and
* authority shall expire at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company or 15
months from the passing of the resolution,
whichever comes first.
