Nissim: Thomson Ceases Sales of ClearPlay DVD Players BOCA RATON, Fla., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to Nissim Corp.'s notice of the unlicensed infringement of Nissim's U.S. patents, Thomson (NYSE:TMS) has informed Nissim that "Thomson has ceased and desisted from any and all future sale, manufacturing, or promotion of product model number DRC232N as well as any other ClearPlay enabled DVD players in the United States." Nissim has also received assurances from Principle Solutions, Inc., which had been offering an infringing product similar to ClearPlay known as MovieMask, that it will also "honor Nissim's U.S. patents."
