Nissan is one of the fastest-growing automakers in America, and
a recent study now shows that it is also one of the best places to
work in America. Nissan ranked 42nd on a list of “America’s Best
Employers” according to a survey published by Forbes.

“Nissan has been able to achieve the kind of rapid growth that
we’ve enjoyed in the U.S. because of the hard work and dedication
of our more than 22,000 team members,” said Scott Becker, senior
vice president, Administration and Finance, Nissan North America.
“While adding more than 9,000 U.S. jobs since mid-2011, Nissan is
committed to creating a positive workplace with strong benefits for
our employees. We are happy to see that the Forbes ‘America’s Best
Employers’ study validates our efforts.”
In addition to its overall top 50 performance, Nissan ranked
second among car manufacturers in the study and was one of only two
that finished in the top 100.
The top employers were chosen by Forbes based on an independent
survey by Statista.com of 20,000 American employees working for
large U.S. companies and institutions, and U.S. divisions of
international firms. Respondents were asked anonymously through
several online panels if they’d recommend their employer, or any
other employers in their industry, to a potential employee.
The survey was conducted with employees of companies in all
industry sectors employing more than 2,500 workers in the U.S.
In total, more than 3,500 companies were represented in the study,
with Forbes creating a list of the top 500 firms for their April
13, 2015 issue.
